ดิน: ชอบดินร่วนหรือดินร่วนปนทรายที่มีการระบายน้ำดี ไม่ชอบน้ำขังแฉะ
น้ำ: รดน้ำสม่ำเสมอในช่วงปลูก 1-2 สัปดาห์แรกเพื่อให้รากตั้งตัวได้ดี หลังจากนั้นสามารถอาศัยน้ำฝนหรือรดน้ำตามความเหมาะสม

อากาศ: ชอบอากาศร้อนชื้น ทนแล้งได้ดีพอสมควร
